I found this book to be very intriguing and thought provoking! It grabbed my attention! I enjoyed how the author described Holly’s her love and concern for Evie while still trying to make a life for herself. I love the imagery and descriptive writing style and highly recommend it! The healing that takes place among the characters truly warmed my heart.
Jan Fallon is an artist (she created the cover) but she’s also an artist with words. Her descriptions were a delight. I read the book and was immediately hooked. As the intensity increased, I didn’t want to talk to my wife sitting beside me, I didn’t want to eat the meal, I just wanted to finish it. I loved the book and look forward to reading more.
If you enjoy an exciting adventure story, you’ll love Campsite six. I’m a fisherman, hiker and overall lover of the outdoors. I enjoyed the author’s grasp of the written language. Especially her descriptions of wildlife. I also like how the author shared how some of life’s problems will go unsolved without help. Help that comes from surprising sources!
I truly enjoyed reading this book. In fact I read it twice! I was especially drawn to how she struggled with her fear from the past and engaged with the new hope she found that provided an inner strength. The intertwining relationships brought a deeper understanding of why Evie may have wanted to get away from it all.
I didn’t know I would love Campsite Six as much as I did. I looked forward to the end of my day when I could return to my thoughts about Evie. I was intrigued with her whereabouts. Each short chapter drew me in and kept my attention. In the end, I was captivated with the twists, turns, and answers that would satisfy the thoughts that had my heart racing.
I loved this book! I’m not an avid reader but I could not put this one down. It was great getting to know Evie and following her through each turn in her journey. There were times of sweetness but there were more times of challenges in her life that keeps your interest. What a rollercoaster of emotions. You will be telling your friends about it. Enjoy!
This is an amazing book! I kept thinking that I would stop at the end of a chapter, but I just couldn’t. I kept turning the pages to find out what would happen next! The characters are created with such depth that I would find myself thinking about them throughout the day. It’s not only a pleasure to read, it displays God’s love for us through Jesus Christ.
The characters, the setting, and the story of Campsite Six have resonated and stayed with me in a way those of few books do. What rings true in the story for me is the characters’ longing for answers, for truth, for relief, and for peace—and the gentle, loving response of God. The mystery builds to a satisfying conclusion. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Jan Fallon, weaves a story in which the Divine plan intervenes in Evie’s life. The readers are transported into the heavenly realms as Evie meets Damien who guides her to make a choice which will affect the rest of her life. However, there is a battle raging for her very soul. It’s a great read and if you have faced life’s struggles, you will enjoy the journey!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful metaphors of Campsite Six but got a bit lost in them so when I put the book down, I lost the story line. It’s a fun read with an interesting look behind the scenes of what might be happening in the spiritual world as it grows to an exciting and unexpected ending. I look forward to more of the author’s writing!
Campsite Six was intriguing and very enjoyable. It was unlike any other book I’ve ever read. I loved how the author wove the supernatural in with the events taking place in Evie, the main character’s. life. It helped me imagine what is going on that we cannot see. I look forward to reading future books by Jan Fallon!

Interesting, unusual, intriguing, thought-provoking, excellently written, couldn’t put it down so finished reading in one night. I would recommend this book to those looking for something different from the usual suspense novel.
Jan Fallon surprised me with her openness in sharing how her life parallels characters and events in her book, Campsite Six. Her honesty made it easy to identify with her, challenging me to find God’s encouragement and hope.
Wow! (Actually interrupted my husband’s reading of a separate book many times to say, “listen to how the author worded this!”.) Jan Fallon has a writing style that is both suspenseful and poetic. I am left with the hope that she will have another novel soon!
My friend stole Campsite Six from me and I had to wrench her nose from reading it twice so that we could finish our meeting. She complained “I’m really enjoying this book. It’s so interesting already!” Now, I’ll have to mail her my copy.
This book if full of twists and exquisite phrasing. I love some of the one-liners and the lessons Evie and the other characters learned along on this journey. It has great story line (s) and the characters are engaging and real. I related to many of the struggles within the pages and look forward to more.
